As a kid, Nicholas Nelson found himself sketching the cover of his cereal box instead of eating breakfast in the morning. Not interested in how “Great” Tony the Tiger was or in catching a sugar buzz, instead he was entranced by the lines and shadows that brought Tony and his imagination to life.
Soon after, his Crayola crayons were replaced with blending stumps – coloring books transformed into sketch pads and sidewalk chalk deepened into oil pastels.
Years later, he earned a degree in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of Minnesota, where he continued to develop his skills as an artisan. There he trained with skilled graphic artists, photographers, and painters and was surrounded by extremely talented people who have greatly influenced him as a designer.
A professional designer for over a decade, he possesses a comprehensive range of experience from Art Direction, Graphic Design, Branding / Marketing, Photography, Advanced Color Management to Digital Rendering. His motivation, ingenuity and expertise in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat, Quark Express, After Effects, and Flash, have been demonstrated in the success of countless projects and have made him an asset to firms and ultimately every client he has been fortunate to work with.
